🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have a Master's Degree or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale.
A 5% relaxation from 55% to 50% is allowed for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Differently-Abled and other eligible categories as per applicable rules.
Candidates who have passed M.Phil. coursework with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade 'B' may also be eligible as specified in the notification.
The notification specifies eligibility through categories such as UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICMR-NET/JRF/SRF etc. as mentioned in the notice.
Candidates with at least 65 percentile in GATE are mentioned among the eligible categories.
UGC-NET qualified candidates having Ph.D. admission eligibility may apply as specified in the notification.
