The Department of Education is organizing a 10 Days Research Methodology Course from 07 October 2026 to 16 October 2026.
The course is designed to provide researchers with theoretical as well as practical knowledge of contemporary research methodology, data analysis, academic writing, research ethics and research tools.
The programme is intended primarily for Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral (PDF) scholars in Social Sciences, Commerce, Management and allied areas.
Research design, hypothesis development, conceptual modelling and theoretical contributions.
Questionnaire design, scale development, sampling methods and field data collection.
Descriptive, inferential and multivariate analysis with practical software training.
Research paper preparation, journal selection, reviewer response and publication practices.
Research proposal preparation and awareness of research funding opportunities.
Plagiarism avoidance, ethical research conduct, authorship and responsible data usage.
Interaction with researchers and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Lectures, workshops, hands-on training, group discussions and practical sessions.
