✅ Eligibility — Full-Time Ph.D.

• A 1-year/2-semester Master's degree after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree, or a 2-year/4-semester Master's degree after a 3-year Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• Normally at least 60% marks in aggregate (with applicable category relaxation).
• Candidates entering after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree require a minimum of 75%, subject to applicable relaxation.
• M.Phil. candidates with at least 60% marks may also be eligible, subject to the stated conditions.

📝 Selection Process

• Admission is based on merit through the University Common Entrance Test (CET).
• Candidates securing 50% or more in CET are eligible for consideration for interview and final selection, with applicable relaxation for reserved categories.
• NET/JRF/GATE qualified candidates in the concerned subject are exempted from CET.
• 50% weightage: JRF/NET/GATE/CET score.
• 50% weightage: Quality of research proposal, presentation & interview.
