About the Programme
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, in collaboration with the Discipline of Library and Information Science, School of Social Sciences, is organising a 12-Days Refresher Programme on Libraries 5.0.
The programme focuses on user-centred, innovative and intelligent information services for Library and Information Science professionals.

- Understand the Libraries 5.0 paradigm and human-centred library services.

- Promote smart library technologies and automation tools.
- Encourage innovation, leadership and change management.
- Align library services with NEP 2020 and Sustainable Development Goals.
- Foster research, professional development, collaboration and networking.
📝 Registration Process
Step 1: Register through the UGC-MMTTC registration portal.
Step 2: Login as a participant using your registered User ID and Password.
Step 3: Select “Apply for other programmes” and download the Nomination Letter/NOC.
Step 4: Select Refresher Programme and choose IGNOU, Delhi (16/09/2026 to 29/09/2026).
Step 5: Fill in the required information, upload NOC and submit the application.
⚠️ Important Information
Maximum Participants: 50 participants on first-cum-first-serve basis.
Food: Working lunch, tea and snacks will be provided by MMTTC-IGNOU.
TA/DA & Accommodation: To be borne by the nominating HEIs or participants.
Accommodation: Limited accommodation may be available at IGNOU Guest House on nominal charges.
Mode: Full-time face-to-face programme.
Attendance: Attendance in all sessions is compulsory for the completion certificate.
