According to media reports, the Allahabad High Court has sought an explanation from the Secretary and Examination Controller regarding errors in the UP TGT English Examination.
Out of a total of 125 questions, 33 questions were reportedly found incorrect. The Court observed that when more than 25% of the questions are incorrect, merely awarding marks may not be sufficient, and the entire examination process should be reviewed.
The Commission has been directed to clarify how the question paper was prepared, how the examination was conducted, and the procedure adopted during the examination process.
