Eligibility
The notice states that minimum qualifications and eligibility criteria will follow applicable UGC Regulations, 2018, and relevant norms/guidelines issued by UGC, AICTE, NCTE and the Ministry of Education, as applicable and amended from time to time.
Superannuated teachers: May also be considered, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Application Procedure
Eligible candidates are required to fill the prescribed Application Form and email the duly filled application with self-attested scanned copies of relevant certificates and testimonials to recruitment_guestfaculty@tripurauniv.ac.in.
Candidates fulfilling the minimum qualifications may attend the interview with original documents, the filled Application Form, Curriculum Vitae and required self-attested photocopies.
Shortlisting & Interview
The shortlisted and not-eligible candidate lists are to be uploaded on the official Tripura University website. The notice states that the walk-in interview may start from 31 August 2026; candidates should regularly check the university website for date, time and slot updates.
General Terms
- The assignment is purely temporary and may be discontinued as decided by the competent authority.
- Ideally, the assignment is for one academic semester or until a regular faculty member joins against the vacant sanctioned teaching post, whichever is earlier.
- The assignment does not confer a right to claim regular appointment or continuation in the University.
